"Closer To Nowhere" may be the title of Jen Foster's upcoming video but it certainly doesn't describe Jen! She is a musically dynamic, kind, funny, REAL, Cool Rockin' Gal; and, she's right here - talkin' to LoveGirls. She's also addressing the rampant rumors of an alter ego. Hmm – two sexy Rock Girls for the price of one; it doesn't get any better than this!
LoveGirls: How old were when you knew you wanted music to be more than a hobby?
Jen: I was 15 years old when I first picked up my brother's guitar to try to write a song. I loved pop and rock music at that time, and spent hours in my bedroom mimicking my favorite singers. I used a jump rope to sing into, and I pretended my tennis racket was a guitar. Then one day, I thought that I would try to write. I knew at that young age that I was born to sing and write music. I didn't realize how much work it would be, but I stuck with it, and I am still doing it and making a living now, thankfully!

"Uh Huh Her" is the hugely successful LA based band and brainchild of musician / actress Leisha Hailey and musician Camilla Gray. While rockin’ through the UK on their sold out tour these lovely ladies were gracious enough to give LoveGirls an exclusive interview.
The gals were a little tired after a night of partying in Soho, after their gig at Shepherds Bush Empire, but they still managed to be gorgeous and charming for our chat!

What is Santa bringing you this Christmas? Angelina Jolie? Peace on earth? Or how about a calendar featuring 24 lesbian Londoners dressed to the nines? While we would love the first and second options, it is more likely we will get our hot little hands on number three than find Angelina under our Christmas tree clutching a white dove. Which is where the I Love London Girls 2008 calendar comes in.

Bridget McManus, the hottest new Lesbian Comedian, talks to LoveGirls about the reality of falling for straight women, tasting the rainbow and cleaning up her act
As a master lesbian I equate dating straight women to the celebration of Halloween. Halloween is my favourite holiday. I get to dress-up, role-play and most importantly stuff my face with candy. One year I ate out an entire bowl of chocolate bars and there is nothing I enjoy more than eating-out…and finger fucking.
While both Halloween and dating straight women can be pleasurable experiences you can't enjoy them every night of the year. Why not? Because they are not real, they are just fantasies.

Anna Span, Britain's first female porn director, tells LoveGirls how she's making her mark in a man's world and why women should embrace porn
It's the four-letter word that divides many of us grrls: porn. You're either for it, enjoy watching and being turned on by it or you're against it, refuse to watch it and can't understand women who do – yet alone why women appear in it.
One woman who is most definitely for it is Anna Span, Britain's first female porn director. She also understands the view some women - especially lesbians and bisexual women – have that porn is made to titillate straight men, with women's sexual pleasure coming a poor second. She says: "There is an awful lot of sexist, dreadful porn out there but women need to learn what it can be like."

Nancy Rancourt is a pint-sized lesbian powerhouse. Proceed with caution, ladies – she's very hot! Nann (as she's known to her fans) was recently featured in Curve magazine as one of 13 Dykes to watch out for. This summer she shared the stage with Joan Jett at LA Pride. My temperature definitely rose as I sat down with Nann for the LoveGirls exclusive interview.

From 'moody' teenager to an ice cool diva, ex Sugababe Mutya Buena is set to have the smash hit of the summer. Teaming up with Groove Armada 'Song 4 Mutya' has put the talented singer with her distinct style and oh so recognisable voice back where she firmly belongs, at the top of the British pop scene. Mutya spoke exclusively to Lovegirls after her performance at the Lovebox Weekend.
LoveGirls: So why did you leave the Sugababes?

Ex Sugarbabe Siobhan Donaghy speaks exclusively to LoveGirls about her new album, fighting depression and the real reason she left the band.
Siobhan Donaghy was only 14 when she joined the Sugarbabes, at 16 she already had a top five hit, and by the time she was 17 she had left the band altogether. Now 23, her second solo album is due out later this month. LoveGirls caught up with the singer straight after she left the stage at Popstarz in Kings Cross where her live performance had gone down a storm with the mostly gay crowd who obviously adored her.

Katherine Brooks knows what it's like to have it hard. Oh dear, get your minds out of the gutter ladies I'll try and be more clear! She ran away from her small town home in Louisiana to pursue a career in television and film when she was 16. With only $150, and a large quota of charm, Katherine started out sleeping in her car in the parking lot of a Hollywood motel. Now, a decade later, Katherine has directed some of television's hottest shows and will begin shooting her second feature film, Waking Madison in August.
Katherine's awesome list of television credits include three seasons of the Emmy-Award winning show, The Osbournes, Newlyweds which starred the sexy but somewhat blonde Jessica Simpson and The Simple Life with Paris and Nicole.

AxeGirl are a young up and coming band that you can’t help but like. With catchy songs and a funky dress sense they make a refreshing change from the ‘oh so’ familiar bubblegum pop and dingy guitar bands the charts have been spouting out over the last few years. With there most recognisable song ‘I Like Girls’ receiving positive media feed back its great to meet girls who are happy to be gay and happy to sing about it.
Our interview takes place in a rather “manky” pub in Bethnal Green. As soon as we walk through the door the girls, Axe (lead singer and song writer), and Becky (base guitar) draw suspicious stares from the punters, probably due to the fact they still have there makeup on from the LoveGirls photo shoot. After getting a round of drinks in we settle down to have a chat about the band, their fans and the Channel 4 show Musicool which Axe recently appeared in.
