where can i buy the dvd's of all the series ive been on you tube so many time's just watching

sugar rush has to be one of the most amazing shows ever made! i thinks its shocking that it
isnt returning for a third season! there is so much that could happen(the problems of the 3
girls living together, stellas prenancy(which cant be nathans coz in season 1 we learne he has
had the snip) and matt).
sugar rush showed me that u really shouldnt be ashamed of who you
are. i loved everthing about it-the story lines,music cast,clothes EVERTHING!

miss and there really will never be a show like it ! x

First discovered the series with my (ex)girlfriend (it's complicated ;D)! We had moved to
Brighton last year to study and move in together. Turned out to be a disaster at the end of the
year because all men are pricks, I should know, I am one ;D It turns out we're holdin out ok
for now. I guess I thought commitment would be easy. Anyway to get back to the topic of one of
the most upbeat and extremely sexy series I have ever seen, I would just like to say a few
things. Firstly, Sugar, Kim and Sarah, you are truly stunning in everywhich way (I've got a
crush on you all, somethin that I can deal with though). I know it's a series on the telly and
it might not correspond to you're real lives but I highly doubt that you do not live your
characters. Secondly, I have never seen anything on the box that would actually make me not
feel so strange after all. I find that I have often alienated myself from others because I
thought that my life was so complicated. It probably is, but it just reminds me that others
also go through these things in life. I would like to thank all those who cast in the series
and who write the stories. Much love and respect to you all!

P.s. Don't you think after all the big brother 'racist' stuff and the celeb version of the show
being cancelled, they could do with not pissing off more minorities??? I mean, this will
blatantly look like a homophobic move, like lesbians don't deserve to relate to television. The

I can't believe they are cancelling Sugar Rush!! Why?? This is the first I've heard of it -
I've been eagerly awaiting the next series!! The connection between Kim and Sugar is something
that I'm sure everyone could relate to but I also totally fell in love with Saint!! I can't

The only good things to come out of channel 4 were the legendery series, 'Friends', the
excellent medical series,'E.R.', and of course ,'SUGAR RUSH'. I am not a lesbian, just a normal
33 year old wife and mother of 3, who thouroughly enjoyed watching this series ,which is far
better than the book might I add. Even my husband would sit and watch Sugar Rush with me! The
acting is excellent, each episode was brilliant and highly amusing you just couldn't believe
you had to wait a whole week for the next episode. So come on channel 4 Big Brother has
certainly run its course, it hasn't been the same since Kate and johnny, your just never going
to be able to top that series, so give us some Sugar and keep us all sweet!!!

I am in canada and have watched both seasons of sugar rush.I found it to be a bloody brilliant
show in which so many of us can find something to relate to in our own lives. i am
disappointed in BBC, a company in which i thought had guts and forsight in airing such an
amazing show. there are too few characters out their that depict positive lesbians and now
thank's to BBC 4 they have gutted 3 shining stars. one can only hope that they wake up and
realize their utter mistake and continue Sugar Rush.

i think sugar rush is amazing because it does touch everything that goes on in life while gay
or straight, i am gay myself and i think sugar rush talks to all ages who struggle wiv there
sexuality, people should be who they wont to be and everyone else should respect them and they
should not descriminate against other people beacuse they are gay or not or religon or race.

Sugar Rush is amazing. I cant explain it, the acting, the cast, the characters,
even the outfits are spot-on. It really feels like you're in the show with Olivia, Lenora and
Sarah-Jane.
I think it was casted to perfection, and Sara Stewart was ideal as Stella.
(Shes hot, no?!)
If CH4 doesnt want the show back, then find another channel that is
willing to air the legend of a show which is SR, and one last thing...if Saint needs a new gf
in the show, call me!

aw, amn cant believe they've cancelled sugar rush, it was soooo cool! it was so funny too, it
made me laugh so much :( i just started watching it by mistake one night half way through the
first series, and then i was hooked, i had to go abd buy the dvd when it came out just to watch
it from the start!!! great show, they cant cancel it, its not fair :(

OMG ive just read this now this is so not fair its only today that me and my work mate have
been having a chat about it,i was hoping that kim and suga got back tgva that would of been wkd
but i know it aint going to happen lol watching sugar rush has made me and my ex gf realise
alot of things,we used to watch it tgva all the time and we loved it totaly, im going to send
mail to channel 4 and say that this is so not on its like taking a dumy from a baby it aint

Olivia, Lenora, Sarah and all the other cast. Well done + thanks for making such a fantastic
series which us youngsters can really relate to. How any women have finally opened up to their
true feelings all thanks to Sugar Rush?? Its a shame we shouldn't be expecting to see a 3rd
Series on our screens as I (as many others will) could think of plenty of story lines that have
been left unopened. Yes the 2nd series ended very well, but there is more to be seen and
discovered. Oh well, I suppose thats the decision of Channel 4. You all played extremely strong
and passionate characters and what can we say!! What pure acting. All the best, onto greater
things now and again, WELL DONE!!!!

This is the best television series to ever grace t.v., you can't just throw it out the door
like it meant nothing to its adoring fans. At least have the decency and love for your viewers
to bring the series to an end with another cycle of shows. Let us all love this show one more
time for the wit and humor is undeniably original and fantastic! Damn I will miss that show!

Hi there. I used to catch the show late, started casually watching and became hooked on the fun
story lines, topics and characters. I enjoy watching the re runs of the shows. I have also seen
some of your solo projects the last being Lenora in The Wilderness which was interesting and
far from Sugar Rush. The both of you are talented and can can act very different roles. It is a
shame that you can not unite for another series, especially how unusually season 2 ended, Kim,
Sugar and Saint together. I wanted to see how the 3 characters progressed from there!

I dont actually understand why channel 4 decided to stop showing sugar rush. From what i
understand it was a popular show. I hope they lose all their views and have to close down and
another channel starts up and shows sugar rush again and again and again. Its a brilliant show.

Im Dissapointed that when something good comes along its then taken away. I mean young kids /
teens / older / nearly everyone can relate to parts of each story. Especially the younger kids
who might not have anyone to turn to. I mean we have that many shows that straight people can
realte to so why not keep this one show going that lesbians can relate to. It helped so many
people I know and its dissapointing that they left it as though there would be a season 3. If
you say its run its course, then your imagination is poor. There are so many stories to tell.
let the public tell you their stories... im sure you can do more than 2 seasons from it. But
hey who are we to speak right? its all about how much money they make, otherwise they would
listen to the support they have from real people and follow what the people want. kind of like
an encore... if you dont get an encore then you don get more. Sugar rush is getting more than
an encore yet why arent we getting more? Love the show and would love to see more seasons made.

I just watched the entire serie AGAIN... and i'm really depressed because it's not over. I
can't understand why someone would stop a story in the middle of it! It even destroys what has
been done before because it's incomplete !!! I MEAN... YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS.... YOU HAVE TO
CONTINUE THE STORY !!! Sugar and Kim have to go back together... it's clear since the beginning

OMG! how the hell can channel 4 not show the next series of Sugar Rush. I think the show is one
of the best shows on television at the moment and i can't wait for next wednesday to watch the
repeat of the next episode of Series 2. Let's hope you girls are back on the box again asap!

has everyone tried contactin channel 4 direct? i think if they get swamped enough, telling them
that there IS a slot for sugar rush, in place of the borin crap or repeats they have on at the
mo, then maybe they might just sit up and listen. they cant just cancel it like that with so
much left to get out of it. DISAPPOINTED channel 4!!!! they think we'd rather go sit and watch
a load of people locked in a house arguin and rantin rubbish?!.... im sure, somewhere in the
many hours of the week there would be a little 30 minute slot for such a highly watched GOOD
program! if not then im sure some other channel or film producer will recognise just what
talent they have here!

OMG, how come its bin axed? why would they ditch a show that is so true to life and in touch
with so many of us young struggling females? Also, do they not realise that this show brings in
good ratings?! Everyones a winner, if they see sence Is there no other way, live going to
another channel, or even making the latest series into a film?! It would be such a shame to end
it there. im sure young girls who may feel like they are the only people in the world to have
these feelings have watched the previous 2 serieses and gained some kind of hope!!!!

I can't believe channel 4 would do this. It is totally crazy to cancel such an awesome,
groundbreaking show! Sugar Rush has made it cool to kiss girls, and although a lot of the girls
that are kissing girls at the moment may not turn out to be full blown lesbians when they grow
up, they are paving the way for those that will. Thanks to this new attitude and acceptance,
"the closet" may well become a thing of the past! maybe it's not all down to Sugar Rush, but it
certainly played its part. PLEASE CHANNEL 4 DON'T DO IT! We want SUGAR RUSH, WE WANT SUGAR
RUSH!

Sugar Rush is such a powerful show. Sometimes you laugh so hard and then you feel like crying.
At first you hate Sugar but soon you realize that you need your Sugar fix so bad and you can’t
help but loving her. She makes you think of your bitc*y best friend that you love no matter
what. Laughter, tears, you can’t watch and feel nothing. Often provocative but always moving,
Sugar Rush has everything a great show must have : the music matches so well the scenes, the
dialogues are so true and the actors so talented. Lenora and Olivia are stunning, they make
Sugar and Kim so real. The end of series 2 cannot be the end of the show, there are so many
things to explore in a third series. Bring back Sugar Rush! And thank you so much Lenora and
Olivia!

I can't believe that the show ha been cancelled. It just can't be justified. I'm not buying
into the whole its great for lesbians/gay thing i just think that Sugar Rush was a great
British show that people of all ages and backgrounds could relate to. Could they not even put
it on E4?! oh sorry no slots, lets not 4get that the phonejacker starts soon - utter rubbish.
Another channel should definately buy the rights for this, easily one of the best late night
programmes and up there with hollyoaks for entertainment. PS the girls are mint!!!

Every time I remember that Sugar Rush is cancelled my smile drops a little.
These
events have lead to me completely boycotting big brother this year, because big brother was
given as the reason for sugar rush's cancellation. Not surprisingly my life has been
significantly better without bb numbing my mind.
Let's just hope that channel 4 see
the proverbial light and decide to make sugar rush a winter programme instead. It'd bring a
little extra heat to the cold season!

Ive watch Sugar Rush from day one n have been in
loe wit it since. How can u think of cutting of a brilliant programme that helps many ppl
watchin it n its brilliantly written and acted :D Hope u re-think about this... your cutting of

omg i am so angry. I love Big Brother, but it has run its course. Sugar Rush is way better.
It's the greatest comedy/drama ever made. I've never fancied my best friend, but the
experiences and situations of the characters are something which i'm sure all of this
generation can identify with. I can't believe it's only ran for 2 series', when rubbish like
Lost is dragging on pointlessly. Sugar Rush is much more deserving to be an internationally
successful show than Ugly Betty or Desperate Housewives. What does channel 4 think they're
doing, really?
It was great to see Lenora on Doctor Who, wasn't it.

I'm really disappointed, Sugar Rush really made me laugh, was a great show! Sugar was
hilarious, as well as the mental family. It sucks that Big Brother has like 4 different shows
like BBLB and such and they can't fit 9 or 10 half hour episodes of a great show like this.
It's a really inspirational show and not just for people who are gay. I'm a straight girl and I
loved it. I'd go gay for Kim tho Lol. Please bring it back! Channel4 sucks!!!!!

i can't believe that ppl actually watch shit like big brother! How many more years must we
watch absolute freaks and complete social rejects on telly, gettin pissed, picking their nose
and going to the toilet! Sugar rush was fantastic! A proper drama that was hilarious &extremely
true to life! Why do channel 4 air crap but dn't make time for shows that have scripts and

i can't believe such a brilliant show has been cancelled. i don't undestand how they can play a
program such as queer as folk, with very intimate male scenes and they won't allow SUGAR RUSH.
Must say am very disappointed. Well at least i have my dvd's to keep me entertained until
channel 4 finally see sense.

Just found out that the shows been cancelled and im totally gutted!!! its got such a cult
following and i think that on the part of channel for its a big mistake, i really do hope that
they decide to bring it back as its one of the best home grown shows that iv seen in a long
time, and it actually makes me want to watch T.V again!

i cant believe that there wont be a series 3. Sugar Rush is excellent and makes everyone laugh
as well as dealing with issues that may relate to people in some kinda way. Thankyou to
everyone who made sugar rush possible and thankyou to olivia and lenora for making me laugh
every week. I really hope that sugar rush comes back one day as i already miss it even though i

Have to say I am absolutly gutted that the show has been cancelled. I had fancied my best mate
for ages and thought I was completely nuts.
However after watching the show I realised
I was pretty normal and finally plucked up the courage and told my best mate how I felt. I
leaned in and kissed her and now we've been together as a couple for 14 months...
The
show not only made good TV but has made my life worth living xxx

hey ive just been told that there wont be antother series of sugar rush. i heard because c4
dont have a slot for it!!! why cant the bbc or channel3 buy it. i am a straight male and loved
this program. even though i am male, i thought it was very inspirational and it shouldnt just
end there! common people lets do something about it. :)

To say I am gutted would be somewhat a bit of an understatement. FINALLY, we, the UK, had a
gripping series tackling sexuality and all of the drama that comes with it. Okay, so some of
the things that Kim and Sugar got up to werre a bit unrealistic, but the underlying storyline
about wanting someone you can't have can be related to by everyone, gay straight or
bisexual.
Its such a shame that one of the few television series trying to tackle such
an important subject like sexual orientation has been axed for something like Big Brother. Yes
I realise BB is Channel 4's biggest earner, yet, somehow Channel 4 strive to be less mediocre
than the regular televeision channels by airing something thats different. I hope bosses over
at C4 HQ realise what a mistke they have made and come to their senses pretty soonish!

tht prompted me to come out!! as im sure every1 does i has a crush on a friend n sugar rush got
me over her and gave me the guts to get with my crrent girlfriend!

Sugar rush being taken of air is a small example of the growing sepratist society we live in,
with more people voting for extremist political groups, broadcasting, and the media is
succumbing to this pressure. Channel 4 was once a for runner in 'alternative' tv, broadcasting
the likes of Brasseye.
If channel 4 can stand by and defend racist content on the
recent big brother, then why axe a show which takes away many of the stereotypes and prejudice
against young lesbians, and lesbians in general, by presenting sugar rush in an acccesible,
'trendy' and innovative production such as sugar rush.
Lets get more diversity on t.v,
and perhaps then we can help spread tolerance, many people dont listen to politicians, but the
tv goes into peoples homes. Channel 4, amongst other broadcasting companies, has a
responsibility to help this diversity permeate through scheduling selection, and gives fresh
young talent an opportunity to engage with people at home.
And with programmes like
sugar rush, you never know just how many people you are helping, helping to come to terms with
who they themselves are, and acceptance.

i... not to quote everybody else or anything... CANNOT BELIEVE they cancelled this! It was
brilliantly written, excellently acted and so true to life, everyone that watched it could
relate to one issue or another. not to mention fooooking hilarious at times. the bizaree,
random type of comedy you don't find anywhere else! and with sugar just moving in with saint
and kim the 3rd series could have been SO FUNNY! it's a shame... :(

Hi peepz!!! still totally fucking GUTTED bout there bein no series 3 of SR, in fact have been
thinkin a lot about this lately..I'm sure I once read somewhere that TV channels are supposed
to reserve some time in their schedule for minority programming, such as for LGBs, for
example...If this is true one could ask how this is being complied with at the moment when
there is nothing on at all on the 5 main channels that would appeal specificially to LGBs. At
least SR did fulfill that need, but what now then? it's really sad when its C4, of all
channels, that cancels the best LGB programme ever, despite the cast and crew being up for it,
despite the series producer Johnny Capps having lots of ideas about where to take the show and
despite their being a loyal and growing cult following and international recognition, awards
etc...OMFG, I feel that this is a decision that could come back to haunt C4...

Right so I know everything with the comments prob stopped a long time ago, but im gonna go
ahead and give it my two cents anyway:D.. I've actually just watched sugar rush not long ago.
The reason for that is im from denmark and got to know sugar rush through my gf who is english.
This rarely happes to me, but from the first eppy i was hooked!! I've always been under the
impression that british humor is shit (sorry ladies), but have to say that every episode had
its moments when it cracked me up. Especially s2. Though if i have to be honest i still like s1
better cuz i think sugar and kim are a great couple. But anyway, i got so worked up about it
that i watched the entire series in two days, and i was only left wanting more. I think it has
some sort of reality to it which other shows like the l word doesnt have, and i love that cuz
its easier to relate to and at the same time its more likeable in some way. Plus kim and sugar
just make me wanna go out and have fun and at the same time it actually makes me wanna be even
more proud of being who i am. Its really sad that its been cancelled, but still theres a lil
part of me that holds on to the hope of seeing more of these girls. It def sounds like it would
get a lot of viewers to every station that would run it. What I really just want to say is:
thank you for doing the show it most certainly made a difference to me, and i
REALLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY hope i'll see more of ya;)

I'm in America and I kept hearing about this show via messageboards as well as through
AfterEllen's website. Naturally, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about so I ordered both
series from Amazon and Holy Mary, Mother of God, thank goodness I did. This show is brilliant.
The casting is brilliant and the writing...Jesus, man, it's fuckin' brilliant as well. This is
what The L Word could've been had it's creator not gotten so full of herself and began firing
the people that made season one so "groundbreaking."
Sugar Rush not only gets the "gay
life" right but it also gets the friendships and relationships right as well. It's such a pity
that this wonderful show got cancelled. I guess our only hope for more of a rush is hope
itself. Oh well...thank you both so much for being a part of such brilliance. Take care and

I cant believe c4 want to cancel the show. As many others have said it has helped the come out
to friends and family, as well as others just acknowledging how others emotions are in the
world around them. There are serious issues in this show, but it is cleverly shown in a way
that you can laugh at aswell as taking them seriously. This is why so many people worship this
show. I think C4 are being narrow minded as they cannot see what an impact they have with so
many people around them. A result in cancelling this remarkable series will cause alot of upset
and as it helps people deal with real issues, and shows how Kim deals with them, so people
dealing with these issues in real life may not know where to turn. Personally, I love the show
as Kims emotions simulate mine, and the show is funny at points so it doesn’t get you
depressed. it shines a good light on many peoples lives as they can have a laugh but learn
about common and serious issues in the real world. Cancelling the show would be
awful!
At least this show is original, and doesn’t have clichés like may other series
that repeat events that have been shown in others. This particular programme is unique in the
way it deals with serious issues, and uses common issues to make a masterpiece and millions
adore it! I beg! and many others beg. Please bring back Sugar Rush!!! We need our sugar fix!!

i couldn't believe it when i heard that sugar rush was going to be cancelled, how can they even
think about cancelling such a good show? this show has helped so many people in so many ways,
its helped a few people i know have the courage to come out to their family and friends and has
also helped their friends and family understand how they feel and how hard it is to have such
confusing feelings that you think you shouldn't have. this show is so true to life, it shows
the various problems in life that people go through. it shows such a disfunctional family,
which to some people might seem a bit unreal, but some people may very well be able to relate
to. this show is amazing, it helped me feel more corageous about coming out to my family and
friends and i think without it i might still be "in the closet." everyone i know loves sugar
rush, and most of them are straight, they say that its good to finally have a real-life drama
on tv, something that has at least one issue that they can relate to. i was really looking
forward to the new seson of sugar rush, as people were told that there would be a new season
this year, so why did they change their mind? they can't go back on their promises like that,
and all because they want to make more room for big brother!!! i hate big brother, it's boring,
not worth watching at all, everyone in it is so fake, trying to put an act on for tv, its not
reality tv at all, i think its well outdone its place, so get rid of big brother and bring
sugar rush back!!! if all channel 4 have to offer is big brother then they will soon loose
alot of their viewers, and they are just wasting money on such a boring programme, money that
they could use to make more seasons of sugar rush and other good programmes, programmes worth
watching, programs that people can truly relate to, and be inspired by.

I can't believe ch 4 have cancelled the show!!
It was fantsatic and I looked forward to
watching it every week as i'm sure many of you did. Channel four have gave sooo many excuses
reagrding why another sereis will not be filmes although persit in showing programmes like big
brother.
Sugar Rush was refreshing and many people I know loved watching it, not just
because it involved gay characters but because it was a refreshing change highlighting many
factors tht people go through.
I hope they bring it back!!

I completely agree with Henry's comment. Channel 4 have given a million and one reasons for
cancelling the show, and none of them add up.
First of all they said they wanted to make
more room for Big Brother. Next they said they didn't have a slot for it (which isn't true,
seeing as they will be repeating Series 2 in a few weeks) and then they said that they felt the
girl's story had ended at series 2, which is also rubbish as it ended just as Kim was about to
begin her new life living with Saint, Sugar moving in, and her parents having to cope with a
middle-aged pregnancy. Not only that, but the Sugar Rush site said until only a few months ago:
'Watch out for a new series next year!', as in this year, 2007.
There were casting rumours
going on early in the year, especially regarding Sarah-Jane Potts (heard a rumour she was only
available to be in it for 5 episodes) so I'm quite sure there were plans at one point, even if
it was early pre-production notes.
I just think it's incredibly sad that, of all the crap
channel 4 could cut, they cut a decent drama that reached not only young lesbians but the gay
community at large, and even many straight people enjoyed the show for it being fun and fresh
and real.
In ten years time, Big Brother will be remembered for being over-hyped tat.

I read in an interview here that one of the reasons Sugar Rush was cancelled was because there
was no slot available for it due to the lengthening of Big Brother. If this is so then how come
Season 2 is being repeated starting on the 6th of June?
In any case the cancellation
of this show is cultural vandalism. While it's viewing figures may not have been as high as Big
Brother's at the peak of it's controversy I think most people know that Big Brother is a short
term fix to grab audiences and that the only way it's viewing figures can go without cheap
sensationalism is in a downward direction. The plan may have been to say to the government -
"look we have millions of viewers give us additional funding" - but the end result will be more
and more people who end up hating Big Brother and who wonder that if this is the only
contribution Ch4 can make to society might we not be better off without it?
On the
other hand sticking with Sugar Rush might have ended up with a show with much larger consistent
viewing figures as more found out about it and would at least have got international
recognition for it's quality (Sugar Rush is huge in Spain, Brazil, France).
Ch4's
short sightedness on this issue will eventually come back to bite it when Big Brother ceases to
be a novelty anymore and dive bombs into oblivion along with Ch4's viewing figures and
reputation.
Ch4, particularly in the light of OFCOM's report, should seriously think
again on it's decision to axe Sugar Rush. Does it really want to be the tabloid trash TV
company of the UK? Does it really believe the government will give it additional funding for
acting that way regardless of the "by hook or by crook" approach to getting large audience
figures? Money may be tight in the company - but the current approach may well result in there
not being a TV company left that's worth saving.

This series is our very own, damn good, british, answer to The L Word, only more realistic.
Things do go wrong, and it isn't always sunny, and everyone isn't perfectly tanned.
This
series changed the lives of those who discovered themselves whilst watching it, and made the
rest of us count the seconds down to each weeks show because it brought back all the memories
of every feeling we had at that age!!! All the trauma, the sadness, the nerves, the anxiety and
the frustration of unrequited love, and then all the happiness of first loves and first kisses.
It was all there, and all portrayed brilliantly by the cast!
Sugar Rush will forever have
a place in my DVD collection, and deserved a much longer run than it has received. It was
adored by all those who watched it, and relived their own teen angst vicariously through Kim.
Being young and gay isn't easy, but it's a flipping good laugh, which Sugar and Kim proved over
and over again.
Please bring back Sugar Rush!!!! If not, atleast repeat it endlessy for
the next fifteen years to give the upcoming generations the opportunity to realise that they
are not alone, not strange, but infact absolutley fabulous, and part of a community waiting
with open arms to greet them.

I can't believe you've cancelled it. My girlfriend and I used to sit down and watch that and
giggle about all the things we went through. It was so good to think that finally something was
being aired over even terrestrial never mind just sky or digital, that a. people like us could
connect with, but b. others could look at and see how many of us feel and what many of us go
through. It was good that sugar rush was done in quite a light hearted way most of that time,
and I cant believe that you've left it on such a cliff-hanger, never to return!!!!

Bring back Sugar Rush!!! What is wrong with channel 4?! Just coz big brother wants more
airtime.... its stupid. Sugar Rush is so much better.... and it has a wider audience. What
about all the people out there that need the show? If it is BB thats causing the problem, then
why not put Sugar Rush on after? There are so many solutions to solving this. I think we should
start a petition...

OMG! cant believe ur cancelling sugar rush. it'll be a mistake, sugar rush is watched by girls
of all ages, it helps them figure out questions that all girls want to know at some stage in
their lifes. without putting it into a show like it was, what are all the younger generations
going to do to find out what sexuality they are?? believe it or not but its helped out a lot of
people. please bring it back!!!

I am so fed up with the world trying to supress the gay community. when sugar rush came on our
tv, it was a big step to show some narrow minded people the agony we face when coming out.

I was gutted when I heard Sugar Rush is getting cancelled. It's an awesome programme and I'm
sure it helped many young gay people come to terms with what they were feeling. It's a shame
the world will be without Sugar Rush :(

I have just found out that Sugar rush has been cancelled I am in a complete state of shock, i
dont understand it at all, it is the most amazing and real program i have ever seen, i feel
like i am Kim, i have been exactly where she is i had that best friend i fell in love with her
slept with her and just like kim i ended up going my seperate way and falling in love with
someone else but i never stoped loving her and if she asked me back tomorror id say yes, when i
watch sugar rush its like someone has jumped into my head and taken every thought and feeling
out and put it on the telly, and im sure hundreds of other girls and women are feeling how i am
feeling now so please channel4 dont do it we all love it and the girls enjoyed making it so
dont ruin such a good thing. please listen to everyone out there if not listen to your bank

i couldnt believe the news when i heard sugar rush was being cancelled it cant b true! myself
along with millions of the gay community agree that it did have a huge impact on our lives! it
not only helped me gain confidence with who i really was but it showed me that it was ok 2 b
myself and that other people around me could accept me! the struggles of everyday life and love
was portrayed in these series and was something millions of us could connect with!
not only
was it educational 4 the older generations such as my parents, who think i'm the only lezza in
the world it helped me realise the excitin life i could lead!!!
i was hooked 2 it and made
sure i watched it all!
i really hope C4 realises the loss it will have by taking such lush
fit ladies off the tv 4eva!!!! bring on series 3!!!!! listen 2 the all people it has
touched!

I really can't believe they're actually cancelling Sugar Rush!!
Seriously, what made
Channel 4 think they'd completed the story properly [if at all] by moving Sugar in with Kim and
Saint?? Everyone wants to know how things turn out for Kim properly, will she get hurt again?
Is this the last of Kim and Sugar? What does the future hold for Kim and Saint?
Everyone
that watched Sugar Rush wants to carry on watching Kim progress into a more mature woman. Sugar
Rush really has helped so many young girls, and an even wider range of people to come to terms
with what they're feeling, it's helped them learn how to cope with things and that they're not
alone in what they're feeling.
So why get rid of such an important show to so many
people?
A show that got you so many good ratings!
Cancelling Sugar Rush [AND giving up
Lost to Sky One] were very big mistakes. I just hope you realise this before it's too late to
go back on yourselves and get Sugar Rush back!
I've followed Sugar Rush since the
first episode, I have the boxsets and I've watched all the extras and interviews etc. I need
another series to add to my collection! =D You wouldn't want to let down your favourite
customers now would you Channel 4.. Think about it! ;)

Ch4 used to be the pinnacle for new fresh feisty talent. With Sugar Rush I felt they were
starting to reclaim some of that spark and vitality. It was a high quality show set in a
brilliant and under represented area. It was funny, sensitive and well written. I think ch4 are
fools to let this one go. It only goes to show channel 4 has lost its own plot.

There are precious few programmes for young gay people nowadays. Gay, straight, or bi, this
programme brought us together! Canceling SUGAR RUSH is depriving a young generation of another
not only funny but poignant series. Will channel four be replacing our beloved Sugar Rush with
another reality TV series aimed at the stupid people in Britain? Whatever happened to the pride
in British television?

It's impossible to not see how much Sugar Rush benefits Channel 4, with the awards it has won
as one of the highest quality shows on TV today. They are *idiots* to cancel a show that will
win them veiwers and recognition. Sugar Rush is unique, and answers an international call for
something that lets so many of us know its okay to be gay. It gives teenagers the greatest
weapons against homophobia: hope and pride. Anybody that would want to take that away is
absolutely heartless and has no understanding of how much they means to so many of us.
Sugar Rush has changed the way I veiw myself and has given me so much hope. Every
character especially Kim speaks not only to many of us, but to a world that still does not
accept us. The show is invaluable, please reconsider your descision. Please consider the
audiences outside the UK who also relate to the show, though DVD exports, like myself. Think
about the unnescessary impact. It would show Channel 4 truly does not respect the veiws of its
audiences at all. Is this what they want?

Cancel a series that not only have a huge impact in younger generations but also makes us laugh
and have a lighter discernment about our own lives!!! Who of us can not say that did not had a
crush on our best friend (or a friend) in some point? who can honestly say that never made
foolish things for love? And that is not just to the gay comunity but to all comunities
whatsoever! The series portraied the normal stuff that teenagers go through and any teenager
feels better to see that after all it does not just happens to them but to be in a series that
must happen a lot... They do not feel so alone and so not understood! Besides I am not english
and I know brits to be very proud of their stuff... and having such a good series to cancel it
a maybe (most probably) give way to american stuff?... In my country we say that when we have a
winning team you should not touch it... And sugar rush was not only a wiining team but THE
winning team! Bring it back!

Hey.....Well, I havent been steady for a long time really.... My Mum kicked me out and moved
away with her partner for my sexuality....I havent ever had a momentto reflect on my
life.....My world......Then I moved back with my Mum for a while......And fell in love with my
best friend.....Sugar rush then entered my world. I couldn't beleive that actually things like
this do happen. I decided I should tell my Mum i'm gay, she was shocked and asked me to leave
the next day....That was last year....I'm now waiting for a flat....But i won't burn mine
down!!! When i heard you were not bringing back my saviour i was gutted....I still love my best
mate, but found my "saint" I wouldn't mind knowing how my story ends. So can we find out how
Saint's, Kims and Sugar's pan out. Would really help so many people including
myself!!

I can't believe Sugar Rush has been cancelled. It is such a good show - especially for us
Brighton locals. It is funny and moving in equal measure and the acting and writing has all
been first class. Our Big Gay House used to have all the lesbians round to watch it together!
This is so disappointing. A third series is essential!

Sugar Rush was/is an amazing thing. It's great to have a show that shows what it's really like
to be a gay teenager. I know it helped me, as well as a lot of other girls. It was great to for
once have a character I could really relate to, and really nice to have a "voice" for young
lesbians. Rarely has a show made me laugh and cry as much as Sugar Rush has. Thanks to the
girls for amazing performances, and everyone involved for creating an amazing show. Will be
sadly missed! Boo hiss Channel 4. Boo hiss!

its so annoying when shows that could have such a big impact on stereotypes and ignorance get

Bring SugarRush back to the masses PLEASE!!! It is one of the funniest, original and upbeat
lesbian programmes I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Beautifully acted scenes of the
truest friends falling for each other and the tangled web of emotions that we all find
ourselves in one time or another, were so brilliantly portrayed by Olivia and Lenora. Come on

i could relate to sugar rush so much as a twenty year old lesbian. i mean, i've experienced
alot of what she went threw and how she reacted to things. It's funny to see basically every
young lesbian has done the same. this show was so real and that is what made it fucking
hilarious.

I remember tuning into Sugar Rush every week, with one of my gay friends and we'd make silly
comments throughout and it really brought us together. I felt it improved on the book and made
it more accessible, then the second season just took it even further. I was really sad when
they cancelled the third season. I'm sure a hell of a lot of people are feeling exactly the
same thing and are willing to do whatever they can to bring some quality programming
back.
It's good to see the stars doing what's right, rather than resorting to overdone
series like Big Brother.
Good luck and I hope that together, we can all get Sugar Rush
back.
